- AC/DC had not played in Australia since 1977
- John Swan, aka Swanee, is Jimmy Barnes' (singer) elder brother. In 1974, he was a member of Fraternity (Adelaïde based band Bon Scott was also part of) and had been briefly replaced by… Jimmy Barnes. Swanee then had a successful solo career in which Mark Evans also participated.
